A note from owner, Kelly Mize:
When I was in graduate school for fashion merchandising, I had a friend who wore her best clothes on the days she was sick, tired, or just feeling down. I think women by nature tend to associate our “good clothes” with more important or special occasions. But, when my friend explained that her “good clothes” made her feel better because she looked better, I got it. For women, clothing is associated with feelings--how many times have you remembered an event or a day based on what you or someone else was wearing? And why not wear those clothes on the not-so-special days just to reclaim those feelings? I say why not!! If you look fantastic, you feel great, people notice because you radiate confidence, they give you a compliment, and life is good.
My goal in opening a store is not just to provide Tulsa another wonderful boutique. I want Little Black Dress to be a place where women can come and hang out, feel comfortable, get great service and advice and--most importantly--buy some fantastic clothes to make them feel good…every day!
